Rawlings PRO-H Top-of-Line Heart Of Hide 1980's
(NO LONGER AVAILABLE)
Vintage Baseball Glove/Mitt: (1980's) USA made, top-of-the-line Rawlings Pro-H with double post web is a 12½" pattern designed "for the professional player" who is a lefty. No player endorsement. Size is suitable for either softball or baseball. The photos pretty much describe the glove’s condition and features. As for what you can’t see or might not notice: Uniformly padded "Heart-of-the-Hide" leather feels relatively soft, smooth, and firm yet flexible. No holes, rips, or tears inside or out; overall checking and scuffing (more prevalent in pocket and on tips of fingers and thumb). Leather lining exceptionally soft and smooth - very comfortable; solid thumb loop strap. All lacing original. Rolled leather piping in very good condition on front and heel (where it has been well-protected by lacing); however, shows damage and is missing in places on back. Stitching and seams mostly in good condition (a minor repair has been made between index and middle fingers). No previous owner’s markings anywhere. Stampings worn yet easy-to-read. Versatility of a 12½" pattern is suitable for almost any position; also, looks good on display. Rawlings introduced the Pro-H as its top-of-the-line model in 1978 and it continued to be their highest priced glove throughout the 80's. Has been cleaned and conditioned.
