Vintage Baseball Glove/Mitt: (1950's) USA made Denkert G56 button-back "Pro Maker" measures 8½"x 9½" and is endorsed by Johnny Logan, 1951 - '63 (facsimile signature on heel). The photos pretty much describe the glove’s condition and features. As for what you can’t see or might not notice: Well-padded thumb, heel, and pinky; pocket and fingers lightly padded. Burgundy leather feels soft, smooth, and firm yet flexible. No holes, rips, or tears inside or out; shows minimal wear; overall creasing. Leather lining exceptionally soft and smooth - comfortable. Entire glove has been relaced. Canvas piping in good condition on front heel - wear more prevalent on back. Stitching and seams in good condition. Silver button with raised 5 stars and wreath shows tarnish. No previous owner’s markings anywhere. Lots of silver still remains in easy-to-read stampings. Solidly built, 50's button-back displays well, is a pleasure to wear to wear and enjoyable to use. Has been cleaned and conditioned.
